This 2009 Softail Custom takes its styling cues from the 1960’s chopper scene, with modern mechanics and a smooth ride.  Stripped down, you will find the Harley-Davidson Softail frame.  Often imitated, this design creates the appearance of a hard tail frame with a horizontally mounted suspension system hidden out of sight.  A wide rear tire helps provide a smooth ride and plenty of grip. 

 

The 96B V-Twin engine is bolted into the heart of the frame, feeding power through a six-speed transmission.  Full torque is available at low rpm’s, letting you take advantage of the extra gearing for long cruises.  Extra power is provided through Vance & Hines exhaust and a Stage 1 air intake.  Swept back, ape-hanger style bars match the racked out front end and skinny front tire.  Classic touches, including a laced front wheel, nostalgic paint and retro graphics, make this bike stand out amongst the other road warriors.
